Here’s how it works: Fold a shirt in half lengthwise. Choose the marking along the Embroidery Placement Ruler JR that fits the shirt size (e.g. Youth Small) Line up the shoulder seam of the shirt against the marking (e.g. Youth Small) on the long side of the Embroiderer’s Little Buddy.

Where should an embroidery be placed on a shirt?
The standard industry guideline for embroidery placement on left chest embroidery on a polo, T-shirt, or sweatshirt is approximately 6″ from the shoulder and 4″ from the center front. Common center chest embroidery placement is approximately 3″ down from the neckline.
