How much water do I add to Orbeez?
Add 1 cup (240 mL) of warm water for every 100 Orbeez.
- If you want to preserve the Orbeez and play with them for a long time, add a pinch of salt to the water. The Orbeez won’t be as large, but they will retain water for longer.
- If you don’t have filtered water, you can still make your Orbeez.
Do water beads stop growing?
It is interesting to observe them shrinking when left out of water and growing again when put in water. I usually leave a small pitcher of water near the beads so the kids can add water when they want the beads to grow more or just want more water in the tub.
Does hot water make Orbeez grow faster?
FUN FACT: If you add warm water to Orbeez they expand faster!
How long does it take Orbeez to grow full?
Soak Orbeez in water for at least 4 hours. The Orbeez will slowly grow to about 100 times their original size in the water.
How big can a Orbeez get?
The purer the water, the larger the Orbeez™ will grow. This is because the ionic / mineral content of the water affects the size. Make sure you are using clean, distilled water, when growing your Orbeez™ as they can grow to a maximum diameter of 14mm.
